Larry O'Brien has already knocked one out of the box, that being Alex Cullen.
If he can knock out another one, Clive Doucet, then the prize is Jim Watson's.
But if Mr. Doucet stays true then Mr. O'Brien may squeak in with 40 points.
This is not good.
Hizzonner makes Stephen Harper look like a thoughtful and kind socialist.
It is your capital.

There's a while to go yet and things could change. A lot of people, me included, share your sentiments about Larry, but don't be too quick to a decision. Watson's already quit 2 jobs early (mayor and MPP). While at Queen's Park he didn't do anything to help us here, now he has ideas that have to be implemented by the province? He's your typical politician - impossible to pin down on issues, plus he has friends in development places. Electing him could be going from the frying pan into the fire. At least Doucet's honest, he's not going anywhere and he's studied how cities do and should operate all his life - he even wrote a book on it. Think about it.
