627...In My Defense Mr. deBeauxOs

Sir, I thank you for your comment to Post 625 but I must point out something to you, with respect and kindness.

Radio Canada
, CBC French, did not have ongoing coverage of the Larry O'Brien verdict; I reiterate that the only over the air station in the Capital that had ongoing coverage of this important trial was the much maligned CFRA.

Again, I thank you for reading sir and I thank you for the comment.

  1. How interesting. I listen to Radio Canada (French CBC) from 8 o'clock on, every day. Since I was curious to hear the outcome of the court decision, I have been paying attention to the coverage and I can assure you that there have been short updates on the hour and longer news items, some with comments from Mr O'Brien himself, as right now at 4:30 pm - regarding the trial.

Mind you, this claim that Radio Canada is not doing its job, as it should, does not surprise me since it originates with someone who has made the mistaken assumption that I am a man.

  2. My bad.

I saw your pic and thought you were a dude.

    My bad.

As for Radio Canada, you say yourself "..short updates on the hour..."; CFRA had continual coverage of this very important story that is all.

Still I think we can both agree that the coverage was, at best, slack on this important day.

  3. Dan, I can appreciate this story is close and dear to your heart, but there are many other stories and issues that also deserve news coverage because they affect the population in other ways.

Life-threatening weather conditions, for example. Public beaches closed for health reasons. Meat products withdrawn because of listeria contamination. The list goes on.
