The Houston Chronicle, and Houston is one of my fave cities, like Montreal it is a city where the unthinkable happens on a regular basis, reports that 500 pound George Vera, who was in the Harris County Jail for allegedly burning CDs and selling them, smuggled in a load 9mm pistol in the folds of his fat.

This all came to light when he inexplicably told a guard about his malfeasance.

The 25 year old was charged with possession of a firearm in a correctional facility.
