A Bill Moyer, PBS I believe, piece I just saw makes it clear that requiring photo I D for voters is undemocratic and unconstitutional.
According to the study done by the Brennan Center For Justice this want/need for photo I D most affects the poor who are over represented in the Black and Hispanic communities.
Very Jim Crowesque and it affects about ten per cent of the eligible voters in the USA.
