While the rest of the country celebrates Canada Day July 1 has a diff vibe in Montreal.
It is moving day.
It is the day that most leases start in that town.
Andrew Chung from The Toronto Star also points out that this year is the year [year3?] of the bed bug in MTL and the city is doing its level best to stop the spread of bed bugs, going so far as to offer free bags for old mattresses so the critters get trapped and cannot move on up to the east side.
2.8 per cent of Montreal homes have bed bugs. This sounds like a lot to me, eh?
