4620...Fox&Feather Elgin St Ottawa IxNay Can Day

This seems to be, at least for the staff at the joint, if one is to follow the tone of the article written by Mike Aubry for The Ottawa Sun.  

The Fox and Feather, a pub on Elgin Street, one of the main drags in Ottawa, has put the kibbosh on its employees celebrating Canada Day by wearing red or having Canadian flag stickers on their faces.  

Pourquoi you ask?  Well our intrepid reporter didn't bother finding out why and the manager / owner of the drinking and fried food establishment Frank Eyamie would not say.  

So I will tell you why.

The owners of The Fox and Feather are JDubs, Jehovah Witnesses, and the flag thing they are not big on.  Worshiping false idols and all that.  

JDub or not The Fox and Feather is still schleping booze and fried foods to the masses on Canada Day and you know that in honour of our 145th birthday they have a special Canada Day menu, i.e. they have raised their prices.

    I know the Nesrallah's of Elgin/Bank Street area are the same, although I doubt they are JDubs. They drink and dance and cut their hair and watch TV! They did own Nescalero, Bulldog, 380 Elgin building, and a pub across the street, etc. The matriarch Sadie has often been overheard thundering "there is no King but Jesus!", and she is right IMHO. BUT who worships or even considers a flag to be an idol?? Maybe those who are very, very idle and watch IDOL shows as their own lives slip past them?? GOD keep our land glorious and free. Any problem with that JDUB's? If they do have a problem with it and run an alcohol-related business in Christian-Canada, with customers and staff who may have used an illicit drug, I have herein "disfellowshipped" them and am prohibited from giving and comfort, support or material goods to them forthwith. http://www.bible.ca/jw-questions.htm

    I do not like the racists comments on this. But, if ou do not agree with the Canadian aspects oif Canada Day , close . It is hypoicritical to take our money and insult us. I will enverf go there again
