Independent.ie, an online version of the Irish bird cage liner, reports that the gene pool in Ireland is better this day because Phillip Collopy, a 29 year old leader of a notorious criminal gang "...told onlookers that his Glock pistol wasn't loaded seconds before he put the gun to his head, pulled the trigger and killed himself."
The master criminal's last words were, referring to the pistol: "There is nothing in it, watch."
Seconds later a bullet passed through his head and lodged itself in the ceiling of the home of Mary Kelly-O'Donoghue of Limerick, on March 21, 2009.
More brilliance.

Limericks are definitely needed to celebrate the occasion
ReplyDeletePhilip Collopy was a man so dumb
He shot himself in the head with a gun
He thought he was cool
As he played the fool
Now from Limerick, Ireland, scratch one.
