536...Time For SuperEx To Step Up To The Plate

The butter plate that is.

When one door closes another one opens.

WHO TV in Des Moines reports that an web poll conducted by the Iowa State Fair on whether or not the fair should feature a statue of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, a poll that attracted more than 100,000 votes has, by a 65 to 35 margin, said no to the statue.

The WHO TV poll was even higher in its rejection of the statue, scoring 70/30.

Door closes.

Door opens.

SuperEx in Ottawa opens next month and something like a butter statue, a life sized butter statue, of Michael Jackson could, should and will be the thing to get it over the top.

No need to thank me in words; ride tickets would be fine.

509...Iowa Enters The Nineties

The 1890s.

Associated Press rolled with this cute story from Des Moines, Iowa's biggest city where the push is on to allow dancing after two in the morning.

OMG.

The city, who's slogan is "Whatever you do, do more of it in Des Moines", has an obscure city ordinance that outlaws publicly shaking your groove thing in Iowa's biggest city after 2 a.m. One cannot legally chicken dance, waltz or twist until the clock strikes six, eight a.m. on Sunday.
