1870...ManArrested4 'Thinking Of A Cheeseburger'

The Gaston, South Carolina that is, Gazette reports that "A homeless Gastonia man who allegedly hoisted a sign reading, “I’m thinking of a cheeseburger,” near an interstate off-ramp was charged with violating the city begging ordinance."

You had a bad day Michael Francis McLaughlin. He was holding a cardboard sign on the 500 block of Cox Road near I-85 Friday evening, a sign that amuses me but not Gastonia Police Officer J.K. Sarratt. Officer No Fun charged Mr. McLaughlin with unlawful solicitation under the city ordinance and was jailed under a $500 secured bond.

Boo and hiss.
