1859...Quebec

Where the unthinkable happens on a regular basis.

Canoe.ca has a piece about a Westmount man, by the way Westmount is a toney part of Montreal where people should know better, Marcel Cote is his name, who had is lawsuit against Air Transat thrown out of court Tuesday of this week.

Mr. Cote was suing the carrier because one its stewards refused to examine his scrotum.

Reread the sentence.

Mr. Cote was suing the carrier because one its stewards refused to examine his scrotum.

Deal was Mr. Cote and his wife were jetting to Mexico for a bit of sun and surf when, an hour into the four hour flight, he started bleeding in his nether regions. Turned out he had popped a vein down there. It happens.

What concerned Mr. Cote enough to sue the airline was that they wouldn't examine him. Imagine, the flying waiter wouldn't give him a mini physical.

Not only did the judge rule against Mr. Cote, she also awarded Air Transat damages.

Quebec.
