Joenne Lee-Young reports in this morning's Vancouver Sun that Noriki Tamura's Japadog stand on Burrard Street in the West End of Van is, in honour of the Olympics, is now selling a ten dollar street dog called the Mao Dog. It is a Kobe beef dog with tongkatsu sauce. Mmmmm.
The bun is not named after that Mao but this one: Mao Asada the triple axel hitting woman figure skater, 2008 World Champion, who is ranked third in the world going into the Olympics.
