Then I read a small story buried in the front section of yesterday's Ottawa Citizen.
The Kahnawake band council has issued eviction notices to 25 residents,
giving them 10 days to leave the Indian reserve on Montreal's South
Shore...mostly white people involved in relationships with Mohawks...Mohawk law
does not allow them to live there...
Sometimes I am not proud to be Canadian.
